Job Description
Trafford Leisure is on the lookout for a Gym Instructor to join our team.

Location: move Urmston

Salary: £12.70 per hour

Hours: Part Time – 15 hours:

Saturday: 10:00-18:00 (includes a 30-minute unpaid break)
Sunday: 10:00-18:00 (includes a 30-minute unpaid break)

This ambitious programme will see the portfolio of leisure centres transformed into fit-for-purpose, accessible, inspiring spaces under a new brand of “move” for future generations to come.

The role:  In this role of Gym Instructor, you will be responsible for:

Meeting and greeting customers, actively engaging and promoting health and fitness, and building rapport.
Working closely with club members, including inducting them on how to use gym equipment.
Providing detailed and achievable programmes for club clientele.
Actively selling club memberships.
Completing regular maintenance checks and cleaning.
Teaching and covering classes.
Preparing activity areas and equipment to meet programme needs.
Ensuring equipment meets first-class safety and cleanliness standards.
Listening and responding to customers’ requests.

We are seeking motivated, proactive, and enthusiastic individuals to join our team during an exciting time of change at Trafford Leisure. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to both customers and staff, ensuring a top-tier customer experience.

Your key responsibility will be to create a positive and lasting first impression for every customer who visits the centre, providing a safe and professional environment while they use our fitness services and products. By doing so, you will play a vital role in maintaining the Centre’s reputation for excellence and contributing to its growth and ongoing success.

The ideal candidate will hold a minimum Level 2 Fitness Instructor qualification and embody the Trafford Leisure Values of Making a Difference, being Open and Honest, Valuing Diversity and bringing Energy & Empathy into all ways of working.
