Job Description: Westcliff RFC are a community club competing at level 5 of the mens rugby union pyramid with a 22 league game season. Committed to player welfare we are looking to recruit a suitable Physiotherapist or Sports Therapist to manage our senior mens players in training and on match day fixtures home and away . The role will suit an individual looking to develop and gain clinical experience within a sport setting. You will need to be committed and professional in your approach and an effective communicator. Support and mentoring will be provided by an experienced Chartered Physiotherapist. A suitable pitch side qualification will be an advantage but not essential. Funding for a pitch side qualification is available for a suitable candidate.

Requirements;
Suitable graduate level degree in Physiotherapy or Sports therapy
Available Tuesday and Thursday approximately 6pm to 9pm (training) and home and away match day Saturdays
Commitment and Professionalism
Work as an autonomous practitioner with clinical support as required
Complete competent Subjective and Objective MSK assessments
Devise suitable treatment plans from time of injury through to return to play
Completed or willing to complete a suitable pitch side ‘first aid’ course.
Communicate effectively and accurately with the coaching staff regarding player injuries and availability.
