Job Description
Join the Tigers Trust as our new Post 16 Education Manager!

The Tigers Trust is looking for an inspiring Post 16 Education Manager who believes in transforming lives through education and sport. Leading our growing education pathway, including our BTEC Level 2 & 3 programmes and our Foundation Degree delivered in partnership with the University of South Wales.

In this pivotal role, you will shape outstanding learning experiences, champion learner progress, and support young people to achieve their ambitions, both in education and beyond. You’ll lead a dedicated delivery team, collaborate with key partners including League Football Education, and drive the strategic development of a thriving and inclusive post 16 offer.

Key accountabilities of the role:

Managing the delivery of the Tigers Trust BTEC and Foundation Degree. Ensuring monitoring and evaluation is up to date, work is marked, and learner progress is tracked.

Embedding quality assurance across all elements of delivery, building a robust system which promotes staff development.

Support the growth of the Trusts education arm, working collaboratively with the wider Tigers Trust programmes to maximise impact and reach.

Create an inspiring and inclusive learning environment which allows learners to progress and develop.

Ensure reports and records are maintained, shared with senior leadership team and key stakeholders

Manage parents evenings for BTEC students where appropriate.

Liaise with stakeholders to meet their needs and retain business, which will include managing relationships with multiple education providers.

Line management of staff, including timetabling, regular 1 to 1s and PDRs.

Manage programme finances, working with our SLT and finance providers to ensure the project remains on track with budgets and costs.

Deliver on aspects of the programme where and when needed.

Attend CPD, events and conferences as required by the role.

Produce project reports in line with funding and business needs, which includes but is not limited to impact reports for stakeholders and data for internal use.

Support the entry of a Tigers Trust Team into the EFL fixtures programme and manage the delivery of team training.

Be prepared to work flexibly to meet the needs of the Tigers Trust.

Liaise with other agencies to help address the wider issues of health and wellbeing.

Risk assess all activities and manage accidents or incidents according to company policy.

Ensure equality and eliminate any direct or indirect discriminatory practices and behavior.

Ensure compliance with relevant company policies and procedures – Data Protection, Health & Safety, Safeguarding etc.

Based at: Tigers Trust Arena, Hull
Contract: Full time (part time and job share considered) Fixed Term for 3-years
