Our Match Day Operations Assistants will play a vital role in delivering an outstanding match day experience for our fans and visitors. We’re looking for enthusiastic, energetic, and customer-focused individuals who take pride in being part of a team and enjoy working in a lively, fast-paced environment.

You don’t need to have all the skills already — we can teach you what you need to know. What really matters to us is your attitude. If you’re friendly, self-motivated, reliable, and enjoy helping others, we’d love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

- Customer Interaction: Being approachable and welcoming, offering assistance, and confidently answering questions to ensure every customer has a positive experience.
- Communication: Acting as a link between departments on match day, supporting clear communication and teamwork across the operation.
- Administration: Assisting with general office and administrative duties as required.
- Operation of Equipment: Carrying out simple, unskilled tasks using basic equipment, with training provided.
- Physical Duties: Undertaking light physical tasks, including some lifting and moving of items.

This role is perfect for someone who is engaged, proactive, and enjoys being part of the buzz of match day, while making a real difference to the experience of our supporters.

Our Commitment

Yorkshire Cricket is committed to safeguarding children and adults at risk. As part of that commitment, this post requires a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check at the appropriate level. The possession of a criminal record will not necessarily prevent an applicant from obtaining this post, as all cases are judged individually according to the nature of the role and information provided. Information about how we manage DBS checks can be found in our DBS Guidance

We believe that a diverse and inclusive environment makes us stronger. We are committed to building a team where everyone feels welcomed, valued, and empowered to contribute their unique perspectives. Diversity, equity and inclusion are at the core of our recruitment strategy, and we welcome applicants from all backgrounds.

Should you have any questions regarding the vacancy or the different areas this role covers, do not hesitate to get into contact with us at vacancies@yorkshireccc.com.
