Pathway Coach Organisation The Yorkshire County Cricket Club Limited Salary TBC Location Headingley Cricket Ground Contract type Fixed Term (Part time) Closing date 15 August 2025 Job Description THE OPPORTUNITYThis role is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and skilled cricket coach to join our highly successful and forward-thinking Pathways Team at The Yorkshire County Cricket Club.Working alongside the rest of the team, you will assist with delivering Regional and County Age Group programmes, regularly monitor the performance of players and help with the Regional and County Age Group coaching across the winter months.Depending on your experience and the area you wish to work, we have opportunities in our Early Engagement Programme (U10s-U12s), Regional Cricket Programme (U13-U15) and/or our County Age Group programme (U13-U16). You can express interest in multiple areas.What these roles will include:- Working closely with those involved in the County Age Group and Regional programmes to deliver high quality coaching sessions throughout the winter- Ensure coaching aligns with the goals and aims of the winter programme and promotes long-term development throughout the age groups- Provide detailed and knowledgeable insights through various coaching methods to aid the development of playersABOUT YOUWe are looking for people who meet the below essential criteria:- Have obtained at minimum Level 2 ECB coaching qualification- Previous experience of delivering high quality coaching- Strong communication and verbal skills and a natural ability to motivate and influence a diverse range of people including groups and individuals- An understanding and experience of delivering coaching within an equity, diversity and inclusion framework.- An understanding of safeguarding and health & safety relevant to the needs of the roleFurther information about the role and the essential and desirable criteria can be found in the job description which is accessible here.If we receive too many applications, we will assess applicants on the desirable criteria as set out in the job description.Please note, in order to mitigate any potential conflicts of interest, coaches wishing to be involved within the Talent Pathway in the role of Pathway Coach are required to disclose any coaching which they currently undertake as part of the application process.
