Salary: £55,000-60,000 depending on experience
Location: Remote with a requirement for UK travel to clubs and RPA team meetings (varied locations)

Job Description: The RPA is looking for an experienced, strategic leader to become our Head of Player Development, leading our Player Development team across men’s PREM Rugby clubs.

In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for shaping and delivering player development support across PREM Rugby clubs, overseeing the Player Development programme (Gain Line), and driving key elements of the RPA Wellbeing Strategy. You will lead a high‑performing team of Player Development Managers (PDMs) and play a major role in supporting the holistic development, wellbeing, and future readiness of professional rugby players.

You’ll be a confident, people‑centred leader who’s passionate about supporting athletes to thrive both on and off the field. You’ll bring strategic perspective, operational discipline, excellent stakeholder management skills, and a strong commitment to player wellbeing and personal development.
