Reporting into the Senior Media Operations Manager (Projects), the Media Operations Manager will help to provide a best-in-class service to our Rightsholders and Clubs. This role will primarily focus on strategic projects as well as providing support to the Head of Media Operations and Innovation when required. This is an exciting opportunity to join an experienced team of broadcasting experts at the Premier League. The role would suit a driven, ambitious, and personable candidate with excellent communication skills and a strong background in Senior Production Management or a relevant Broadcast Operations role within a Sports Broadcasting business.Who we areThe Premier League is home to some of the most competitive and compelling football in the world. The role• Provide management and planning support to the Head of Media Operations and Innovation for future Broadcast facilities requirements• Support the Senior Media Operations Manager with Operations Working Groups and Stadium facilities delivery (Section K)• Manage the delivery of connectivity/signal delivery systems, integration of Broadcast Cable Infrastructure and camera platform design• Manage a number of International Broadcaster quarterly meetings, including all meeting preparation and follow up actions• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to manage matchday activation for Premier League and Rights Holder Influencer/VIP/Celebrity activations• Regularly attend Clubs and matchday to support knowledge growth/understanding and Club/Broadcaster relationships• Support the Head of Media Operations and Innovation on all Premier League International events. Manage the Broadcast Operation requirements for these events, such as Summer Series USA/Asia Trophy. This will include onsite delivery. • Working with the Head of Media Operations and Innovation, provide support for Innovation delivery and attend bi-weekly meetings• With the Senior Media Operations Manager, design and develop the future needs of Match Manager Programme (long term)• Design and implement new systems to support Broadcast information and delivery (to Clubs, Premier League and Broadcasters)• Assist with and maintain Match Manager and Rightsholder paperwork, as appropriate within the cycle• Support and assist the wider team with Matches, facilities briefings, promoted Club work and new stadium and design as required• Support with any new projects/process and the wider team as and when requiredRequirements for the role• Significant experience working in a Senior Production Management role or a relevant Broadcast Operations role within a Sports Broadcasting business. The preferred candidate would have experience in both areas• Previous Outside Broadcast or Senior Production Management experience, including in-depth knowledge of connectivity and signal delivery systems, broadcast cable infrastructure and camera platform requirements• Confident project manager who can motivate others around them• Well-connected within the Sports industry and ideally, with Premier League Rightsholders• Exceptional attention to detail and deadlines, taking pride in the quality of work produced• Strong interpersonal and literacy skills with the ability to interact well with people at all levels• Ability to read situations sensitively and intelligently with an understanding of strategic context (knowing when to persist and when not to)• Resilient and calm manner.
