Job Description
Do you live and breathe football? Are you a digital storyteller who knows how to turn a 15-second clip into a viral moment? The Junior Premier League is the world’s premier destination for elite youth football. From our roots in England to our rapidly expanding presence in the USA, Canada, and the Middle East, we provide a "player-first" environment for the stars of tomorrow. Now, we’re looking for a creative powerhouse to lead our digital narrative across TikTok, Instagram, X, and YouTube.

The Role at a Glance
📍 Location: Remote/Hybrid (UK-based)
🕒 Contract: Full-time (includes regular weekend/matchday travel)
💰 Salary: Commensurate with experience
🌍 Travel: Regular UK travel; occasional international trips (Middle East, North America, etc.)

What You’ll Do
As our Social Media Coordinator, you won’t just be posting—you’ll be building a global community. You will be the boots-on-the-ground voice of the JPL and the JPL WARRIORS
Content Creation: Capture, edit, and ship high-energy content (Reels, TikToks, Shorts) that showcases the skill and spirit of youth football.
Strategy & Planning: Own the content calendar, aligning posts with league fixtures, major milestones, and global campaigns.
Community Growth: Engage with players, parents, and world-class clubs (from Man Utd to PSG) to foster an authentic, "player-first" digital environment.
Innovation: Leverage AI tools and the latest platform trends to keep JPL ahead of the curve.
Event Coverage: Attend weekend matchdays to capture the raw emotion and "behind-the-scenes" stories that make the JPL unique.

Who You Are
A Digital Native: You understand the nuances of TikTok vs. X and how to tailor content for each.
A Storyteller: You can spot a great story on a muddy pitch and turn it into a compelling digital narrative.
A Self-Starter: You’re comfortable working independently, managing your time, and hitting deadlines.
Football Obsessed: You have a deep passion for the game, specifically youth development and the surging growth of the women’s and girls' game.
Tech-Savvy: You are proficient in mobile editing (CapCut/Splice) and design (Canva/Adobe). Experience with AI content tools is a major plus.

Requirements
-Proven experience managing social brands (ideally in sport or youth culture).
-Full UK driving licence
-Excellent written communication and "community-first" interpersonal skills.
-Ability and appetite to work weekends (this is where the magic happens!) and travel internationally, as business needs dictate/demand.
Strong organisational skills (MS Office & Google Drive).
-A strong ability to edit video content creatively to adhere to our brand voice.'

Why Join the JPL?
The JPL isn't just a league; it's a launchpad. With partners like Pro Direct Soccer, VEO, Soccer Assist, and PlayerMaker, we offer an unrivalled platform for professional growth. You’ll be joining a fast-paced, inclusive team that values merit, creativity, and the safeguarding of the next generation of talent.

ABOUT THE JPL
The Junior Premier League (JPL) is one of the world’s most successful youth sports organisations. Each week, we bring together thousands of young people across the world for unrivalled sporting opportunities and fierce, but fair, competition. JPL was founded in England in 2011 and although the home of football will always be the birthplace of the Junior Premier League, it now operates in the USA, Canada, across the Middle East, and will be launching in Mexico and Australia in 2026. We know JPL players like to dream big dreams, and our work with the likes of Real Madrid and Barcelona, Liverpool and Arsenal presents our young people with the chance to make those dreams take flight. Our girls league, JPL WARRIORS, is one of the fastest growing youth competitions in Europe and features the likes of Manchester United, Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur to name but a few.

JPL RECRUITMENT
The JPL is an equal opportunities employer and strives to create an inclusive culture where everyone thrives. We believe in the potential of everyone and open our doors to those who share our values. All appointments will be made based on merit. Our commitment to safeguarding includes implementing robust and safe recruitment procedures to assess the suitability of individuals applying for roles that involve work with children.
