Regional Discipline Panel Secretaries (Voluntary) Organisation The Football Association Salary 0 Location Home-Based Contract type Volunteer (Part time) Closing date 22 September 2025 Job Description The Football Association is looking for a number of volunteer Regional Discipline Panel Secretaries to support the hearing of disciplinary cases in respect of County FA non-serious cases for the FA CFA Discipline Services Project.The Secretary is the point of contact for all hearing related matters once appointed by the FA.Full training will be given to the successful candidates as well as a range of additional training and development opportunities.This is a voluntary position and hearings ordinarily take place online on weekday evenings. Secretaries will manage their own availability each month. What You'll Do?Provide hearing information to all hearing attendees and confirm attendance.Offer a test session to hearing attendees to ensure adequate internet connection.Explain the hearing procedure to all witnesses prior to being admitted into the hearing with reference to the FA Personal Hearing Guide.In youth cases, ensure all attendees are aware of the procedures when dealing with youth cases and assisting the Panel Chair to obtain timely written questions for those entitled to ask questions to youth participants / witnesses.To assist the Panel with smooth and efficient running of the hearing, inform the FA of the panel decision and send out feedback links to participants.Be able to provide guidance on regulatory matters to the Panel where required and in accordance with FA rules, regulations and processes.Where a case has been found proven, read out the decision on liability and introduce the previous offence history. Where a case has been found not proven, read out the decision on liability.Where a hearing has been adjourned, liaise with all parties to finalise a date to reconvene.Timely liaison with FA discipline staff and colleagues regarding decisions and actions.Execute additional tasks as required to meet the FA's changing priorities.Comply with all company policies and procedures to ensure the highest standards of health, safety and wellbeing can be maintained What You'll Need?
