Your CV and any additional supporting evidence will also be attached and made available to the hiring manager.Job PurposeAs the Education and Training Manager, you will lead the planning, development, and continuous improvement of our education and learning provision. You will oversee the creation, review, and delivery of educational products, ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and our strategic priorities. By driving innovation in educational practices, you will shape the future of education and educator training.Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage the education and educator development strand, including a team of education and learning developers and educator training officers.- Develop, review, and improve qualifications, certificates, and learning programmes, ensuring they align with industry needs, regulatory standards, and strategic objectives.- Collaborate across teams to ensure the consistency and quality of educator training and learning programme development.- Identify opportunities for new qualifications, certifications, and training programmes based on industry trends, stakeholder feedback, and strategic priorities.- Manage the team’s workload, ensuring efficient and timely delivery of educational products and support for the educator workforce.- Support the training and development of educators, including organizing and delivering training programmes, upskilling, and facilitating standardization events.- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, such as educators, training centres, industry partners, and regulatory bodies, to ensure alignment and maintain positive relationships.- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements in all educational activities, working closely with the Regulations and Compliance Manager.- Manage recruitment for experienced deliverers and subject matter experts.- Develop and implement communication strategies to keep stakeholders informed and engaged with updates and key developments.- Support self-assessment processes, and review and develop policies and procedures for the awarding organization. Skills and ExperienceEssential- Proven experience in line management within an educational setting.A teaching qualification (PGCE, PTLLS, or equivalent) or a valid Tutor/Assessor qualification.- Demonstrable experience in delivering education, including face-to-face and online teaching, learning, and assessment.- Experience in qualification design and developing learning and assessment materials.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and changing environment.- Familiarity with using a variety of educational technologies, including digital learning and assessment systems.- National travel may be required to visit educators and approved training centres. Desirable- Experience in developing regulated qualifications.- Knowledge of CASS (Centre Assessment Services) and quality assurance processes.- Project management qualification.Please be advised that we cannot offer visa sponsorship and that you must have right to work in the UK to apply or be considered for this role.
