The Volunteer Team Manager is the perfect opportunity for you.Swim England are hiring for two volunteer positions as Water Polo Team Managers to provide administrative support to both the Men’s and Women’s under 18 squads in GB and England preparing for European Championships in 2027.Our ambition is to see the Men’s and Women’s Water Polo teams competing consistently on the world stage by 2032.Working under the direction of the Head Coach and Water Polo Programme Lead, this role would suit an excellent communicator who is able to build strong relationships with coaches, athletes and specialist support staff.The successful candidate will demonstrate our strong squad values, including respect, punctuality and hard work; acting as an ambassador for these to the team.The Volunteer Team Manager will organise and attend training camps and competitions both in the UK and abroad; organising pool time, travel and accommodation to support the squad in their ambition to reach their potential.Additionally, tasks such as risk assessments are the responsibility of the role holder supported by Swim England staff.Commitment requirement:As Volunteer Team Manager, you will support with planning and attendance for key events on behalf of the squad. As such, this role will require travel both in the UK and internationally to attend training, camps and competitions.
