Job Description

Swim England South East Region is seeking committed, enthusiastic and forward-thinking individuals to join its Regional Board and help shape the future of aquatics across the South East.

This is a rewarding opportunity to contribute your skills, experience and perspective to support clubs, athletes, volunteers and aquatic communities across the Region.

Board members play an important role in providing strategic leadership, strengthening governance and ensuring the Region continues to develop inclusive, high-quality opportunities for participation and performance.

What the role involves
- Contributing to the strategic direction of Swim England in the South East Region.
- Supporting effective governance, decision-making and regional planning.
- Championing the needs of clubs, members, volunteers and participants.
- Helping to promote safe, inclusive and accessible aquatic activity.
- Bringing fresh ideas, constructive challenge and collaborative leadership to Board discussions.

Who we are looking for
The Region welcomes interest from people with a range of backgrounds, skills and experiences. You may have experience in sport, governance, finance, audit and risk management, safeguarding, equality and inclusion, communications or community engagement. Importantly, you will have a passion and commitment to helping the sport thrive and approximately 6 hours each month to commit to this role.
