The Early Engagement Programme (EEP) is an ECB initiative for counties to implement across the U10 to U12 age groups. The aims of the EEP are: to broaden the talent base and increase the connection between the recreational game and the talent pathway; to strengthen the talent pathway by widening the talent pool; and to increase the diversity within the talent pathway. The role will focus on programme management through collaboration with key staff and external stakeholders. Excellent organisational skills, the ability to multi-task and work well under pressure are key attributes. An enhanced coaching element to the role will evolve as the smooth running of the programme is assured. We are seeking an individual with a proven track record of programme management and coaching in these age groups, who will flourish in a high performing environment and have a positive impact on those around them. What you’ll doThe role will start on the 1st October 2025, ahead of the Early Engagement Programme launch in November 2025. Key responsibilities will include management of the player identification, recruitment/retention processes. Developing strong relationships across participation and performance cricket within the County.
