Job Description: Assistant Coach – Surrey 89ers (Super League Basketball)

The Surrey 89ers, a professional basketball team competing in the Super League Basketball and based in Guildford, are seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant Coach to join our staff.

Key Responsibilities

Support the Head Coach with team preparation, game management, and practice planning.

Lead individual player development sessions to improve skills and performance.

Use scouting and video analysis tools (e.g., Synergy) to prepare game reports.

Assist in player recruitment, team culture building, and day-to-day operations.

Requirements

Proven basketball coaching experience at professional, collegiate, or high-level club.

Strong knowledge of game strategy, player development, and performance analysis.

Excellent communication and leadership skills.
