Role OverviewAt Stockport County FC, our stewards play a vital role in creating a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable environment for all supporters and guests at Edgeley Park. Whether on matchdays or during non-matchday events, every team member contributes to the smooth delivery of our operations and the positive experience of our visitors.We are currently recruiting reliable, confident, and approachable individuals with a passion for excellent customer service and a smart, professional appearance. If you're friendly, engaging, and ready to be part of a dynamic team, we’d love to hear from you.Key Responsibilities• Support the Safety Officer in ensuring the safe coordination of supporters during events and fixtures.• Provide outstanding customer service to all visitors, always maintaining a calm and professional manner.• Monitor and manage spectator safety, following all club policies and safety procedures.• Assist in emergency situations and ensure effective crowd management as required.• Uphold the values and reputation of Stockport County FC with a positive, proactive attitude.Essential• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills• A calm, confident, and engaging presence• Smart appearance and a professional approach• Strong sense of reliability and punctuality• Full Right to Work in the UK• Willingness to undergo a standard DBS check (paid for by the club)Desirable• Experience in a customer-facing or security role is desirable• Level 2 Certificate in Spectator Safety (advantageous, but not essential – training may be provided)Please note that this role is a zero-hour contract.Recruitment Process:The recruitment process will include a two-part interview, including a recruitment assessment centre, with dates to be confirmed.
