Initially formed as Heaton Norris Rovers, the Club officially became Stockport County in 1890 after the County Borough of Stockport and have been based at Edgeley Park since 1902.The team currently competes in Sky Bet League One, the third tier of the English Football League, after winning the 2023–24 Sky Bet League Two title.Role OverviewWe are seeking an enthusiastic Coach to join our Academy team. The postholder will support and lead aspects of training, group, individual and team planning of the football pathway within the U16 group. Work with the lead cell coach to ensure each player has an up-to-date and relevant individual development plan.Key Responsibilities• Support u16 age group on match and training days.• To plan, create, and evaluate coaching sessions as scheduled in the weekly plan.
