Job Description: About Stockport County

Founded in 1883, Stockport County are one of the country’s longest established football clubs. Initially formed as Heaton Norris Rovers, the Club officially became Stockport County in 1890 after the County Borough of Stockport and have been based at Edgeley Park since 1902.

The team currently competes in Sky Bet League One, the third tier of the English Football League, after winning the 2023–24 Sky Bet League Two title.

Role Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic Analysis Volunteer to join our Academy team. The role supports coaches and players by delivering video and data analysis, helping plan and implement analysis programs, and assisting across Academy activities. It involves collating performance data, organising footage and reports, and contributing to the ongoing development of performance analysis within the Academy.

Key Responsibilities

• Administrate and support coaches in the delivery of analysed video.
• Consult with the program Head coaches in the planning and implementing of analysis programs.
• Support at all program activity as specified in the Academy calendar.
• Collate specific data that will inform future performance as directed by program leads.
• Contribute to an effective performance analysis development structure by organising video footage, statistics and reports as required, and engaging actively in continuous personal development
