Job Description
Stadium MK is a 30,530-seat multi-purpose venue in Milton Keynes, home to MK Dons Football Club. Since opening in 2007, the stadium has become a leading destination for sport, events, and hospitality.

The site also includes the DoubleTree by Hilton Milton Keynes, a 304-bedroom hotel, and Arena MK, a versatile space hosting conferences, exhibitions, and live events. Together, these facilities create a dynamic and fast-paced environment offering a wide range of experiences for guests and clients alike.

The Role
We are looking for an experienced and commercially driven Group Procurement Manager to lead procurement activity across our diverse group of businesses.
This is a high-impact role with responsibility for developing and implementing a Group-wide procurement strategy across MK Dons Football Club, Stadium MK, DoubleTree by Hilton Milton Keynes, Arena MK and the National Bowl.
Working across a varied operational environment spanning professional football, hospitality, hotels, major events and venue operations, you will ensure goods and services are procured competitively, supplier relationships are effectively managed, and procurement delivers measurable commercial value without compromising quality or service.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Group Chief Financial Officer, you will take ownership of procurement strategy, supplier negotiations, tendering, contract management, benchmarking and procurement governance across the Group.
Key responsibilities include:
• Lead and implement the Group-wide procurement strategy across MK Dons, Stadium MK, DoubleTree by Hilton Milton Keynes, Arena MK and the National Bowl.
• Deliver measurable cost savings and operational efficiencies through effective purchasing, supplier consolidation and commercial negotiation.
• Lead competitive tenders, supplier negotiations and contract management across major spend categories.
• Manage procurement across hospitality, catering, hotel operations, events, facilities, security, cleaning, utilities, maintenance and IT.
• Build and manage key supplier relationships, including performance reviews, KPIs and commercial compliance.
• Lead food and beverage and energy procurement, including market benchmarking and price monitoring.
• Analyse spend, identify opportunities, track savings and produce procurement reports for senior leadership.
• Maintain robust procurement governance, supplier due diligence and contract controls.
About You
We are looking for an established procurement professional who combines strong commercial judgement with excellent negotiation, analytical and stakeholder management skills.
Essential Experience and Skills
• At least five years’ procurement experience.
• Demonstrable experience in supplier and commercial negotiations.
• Experience leading tenders and contract negotiations.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen.
• Experience in supplier performance management.
• Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Desirable Experience and Qualifications
• Experience within hospitality, hotels, stadiums, leisure or football.
• Food and beverage procurement experience.
• Energy procurement experience.
• Experience implementing or improving procurement systems.
• CIPS qualified or currently working towards a CIPS qualification.
