WSL Field Operations Coordinators Organisation Sportable Salary £28,080 Location Nationwide Contract type Fixed Term Closing date 31 July 2026 Job Description The Field Operations Coordinator (FOC) is responsible for the on-the-ground execution of Sportable tracked Women’s Super League matchdays. Successful candidates will lead matchday operational delivery from preparation through to post-match processes, ensuring systems are installed, operated and maintained to the highest possible standard. The role also includes supervising casual operational staff and acting as a key on-site representative for Sportable.This role requires regular weekend work (offset with days off during the week) and potential national travel to various WSL stadiums. Availability during WSL match weekends is an essential requirement of the role. Frequent travel, overnight stays, and working bank holidays may be required depending on fixture scheduling and operational demands. Candidates would preferably live in reasonable proximity to one, or numerous WSL stadiums.This role operates on a fixed-term contract structure aligned to the Women’s Super League season.Contract Start Date: 3rd August 2026Contract End Date: 28th May 2027Responsibilities: Matchday PreparationLead individual matchday readiness including:Equipment preparation, testing, maintenance and inventory managementMatchday logistics and operational planning including risk managementExternal communication with clubs and stadiumsInternal communication and coordination with casual operational staffIdentify operational risks ahead of matchday and escalate where appropriate Matchday ExecutionLead on-site set up, delivery and removal of Sportable tracking technologyExecute live operational processes in accordance with Sportable standard operating proceduresSupervise and coordinate casual staff during deliveryIdentify, troubleshoot and escalate operational or technical issues appropriatelyRepresent Sportable professionally at all times whilst on-siteSupport the creation of a positive, professional and high-performing operational environment on-site Post-Match ResponsibilitiesEnsure all post-match processes and documentation are completed thoroughly and accuratelyProvide structured operational reporting to relevant internal stakeholders within required timelinesSupport smooth handover into post-match data workflows where requiredEssential Skills & Experience:Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced live environmentsStrong organisational and communication skillsHigh attention to detail and process adherenceConfidence working independently and making operational decisionsWillingness to travel nationally and work weekends regularlyAbility to work outside of traditional office hours when deliveringFull UK driving licence and access to a vehicleDesirable Skills & Experience:Education to undergraduate levelExperience within elite sport, live events, or sports technology environmentsUnderstanding of football operations and/or live matchday environmentsExperience coordinating people or operational activityTechnical confidence with hardware, systems or other technologiesExperience in stakeholder-facing roles Diversity StatementSportable is a committed equal opportunities employer, and we welcome applications from disabled candidates and those from minority ethnic backgrounds.
