Be part of the team that makes Liverpool shine.The Role• The role of Accessibility Project Manager (Culture and Sports Events) will provide strategic leadership and operational oversight to ensure that Liverpool’s major culture and sports events are inclusive, accessible, and compliant with relevant legislation• Delivery of the Accessibility Project Manager (Culture and Sports Events) role will include embedding accessibility into event bidding, planning, infrastructure design, transport coordination, and event day delivery for major projects such as the brand new inclusive multisport and cultural festival, the Tour de France stage finish and UEFA EURO 2028• In the role of Accessibility Project Manager (Culture and Sports Events) you will lead the development of accessibility audits, action plans, and reporting frameworks, ensuring a consistent and measurable approach to accessibility across all Culture Liverpool events• The role of Accessibility Project Manager (Culture and Sports Events) will involve working closely with internal teams, event organisers, artists, athletes, governing bodies, and disability advocacy groups to ensure inclusive design and equitable access for all audiences and participants.• Your demonstrable knowledge as an Accessibility Project Manager (Culture and Sports Events) will include experience demonstrable event experience delivering accessible practices, engaging diverse communities, managing accessibility budgets and developing KPIs, ensuring events meet best practice accessibility standards• The role of Accessibility Project Manager (Culture and Sports Events) will also require onsite leadership of volunteers, contractors, and suppliers, supporting accessible transport planning, health and safety compliance, and post event accessibility evaluationThis post is fixed term for the purpose of delivering the 2026 – 2028 culture and sports event programme and will end October 2028.
