We have a fantastic opportunity for a Chef de Partie to join our team working in the brand-new pub based at St. Mary’s Stadium, The Dell. A one-of-a-kind pub with a nod to our heritage.

What is the role?
Reporting to the General Manager and supervised by the Head Chef, you will be responsible for the food preparation process within your area, ensuring the quality and quantity of food produced is according to the menu specifications and established deadlines. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the smooth operation of the kitchen and upholding the high standards of our services.

What will you be doing?
• Produce amazing food for our Fans, Families, Festivities, Fun and For all.
• Adherence to food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Collaborate with the Sous Chef and other culinary staff to develop menus, prepare meals, and handle requests.
• Oversee the inventory management of ingredients and supplies within your area.
• Maintain open lines of communication with the front of house team and other departments to address any issues or concerns.
• Assist in training new employees and provide guidance on proper techniques and procedures.
• Contribute to the evaluation and improvement of kitchen operations, including workflow, efficiency, and waste reduction.
• Comply with all policies and procedures related to food handling and storage.
• Contribute to creating a positive and professional environment within the team.

Is this you?
Qualifications
• Proven experience as a chef or cook in a commercial kitchen setting.

• Knowledge of food preparation techniques, recipes, and presentation styles.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of HACCP principles and food safety practices.
• Relevant certification or degree in culinary arts.
