What is the role?

The purpose of the role is to manage the smooth running of the in-stadium entertainment (Match Day Show) at all first-team home matches. Liaise with Match Day Show staff in advance to discuss the running of the day as well as covering any other SFC events as required.

What will you be doing?

You will ensure the smooth running of the Match Day Show which will keep fans inside and outside of the stadium informed, engaged and entertained.

You will support in the set-up and organisation of all matchday entertainment, including interviews, presentations and competitions as well as assisting the Matchday Presenter pitch-side and ensuring good communication is maintained throughout the event with the PA room, taking responsibility for communicating subs and ensuring the appropriate graphics are displayed on time.

Taking the responsibility of all external entertainment and ensuring the movement of presenters and camera operators are in sync with the running order, you will provide a seamless, high-quality experience for spectators.

Post-match, you will ensure all SFC-owned matchday assets are stored away safely and correctly and any issues that have arisen during the match are reported appropriately.

You are highly organised and thrive in a fast-paced environment. With strong communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure, you are comfortable coordinating all aspects of matchday entertainment.

Essential Skills/Experience:

Experience working in sports/ entertainment as a floor manager
Strong knowledge of production and how live events are brought to life
Confident and proactive in seeing issues before they happen
Strong ability to work under high time pressure
Commitment to working matchdays
Ability to operate big screens using numerous different layouts
