Working within the Academy’s Performance Department, you will help facilitate a smooth operation in a fast moving environment, providing administrative support to the team and its practitioners enabling them to deliver the highest levels of performance support to our Academy playersWhat will you be doing?You will be responsible for ordering goods and services on behalf of the department, monitoring and reporting against budgets and full coordination of player medical insurance.With regards to player specific administration you will coordinate players ‘Anti-Doping Whereabouts’ on a daily basis in line with FIFA/UEFA regulations, coordinate logistics and communications around player medical appointments and pre-signing medicals, liaise with international teams, monitor and co-ordinate player cardiac screening and player blood testing along with using the online athlete management system (TMA) to ensure a complete medical record is kept up to date for each player.You will also support the wider department by monitoring and organising the servicing of medical equipment, acting as a key point of contact for the department internally and externally, providing team coordination through organisation of meetings, minute taking, etc, booking accommodation and travel for staff as required for CPD and external engagements, alongside providing support to the Academy Doctors including monitoring of drug and equipment stocks.Is this you?Key skills and experience required:Experience in an administrative role (within medical field desirable).Excellent communication skills.Excellent planning & organisational skills and the ability to multi-task.Ability to work efficiently without supervision, be calm under pressure, use initiative & be pro-active.Friendly, committed and hard-working team player.Good working knowledge of Excel, Word & other Microsoft programmes.Must have a flexible attitude towards the unique football environment.Have a full understanding and work according to medical confidentiality.Be prepared to occasionally be contacted outside of office hours/weekends when required.How this benefits you… If you are successful, you can look forward to a healthy benefits package; Access to x2 free match tickets for every home league game Access to our staff Health & Wellbeing initiatives (Mental & Physical Health).
