Job Description: We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Football Camp Coaches to join our Healthy Activity school holiday football programme. The successful candidates will be responsible for delivering engaging football training activities, inspiring young athletes to develop their skills. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about football coaching and teaching to gain valuable experience in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

Lead and organise football training activites tailored to 6-11 year olds of varied skill levels
Provide clear instruction and demonstrate proper techniques to maximise player development
Foster a positive, inclusive, and motivating atmosphere for all participants
Ensure the safety of all attendees during activities by adhering to health and safety guidelines
Support the organisation of camp activities, including games, drills, and competitions
Communicate effectively with campers, parents, and team members regarding progress and programme updates
Assist in setting up equipment and maintaining the cleanliness of training areas
Supporting the provision of food to some of the camp attendees, following the necessary policies
Skills

Proven experience in sports coaching, particularly football, is essential
Strong behaviour management skills with the ability to communicate instructions clearly and effectively
Enthusiastic attitude with a genuine passion for working with young people and promoting physical activity
Organised, reliable, and able to manage multiple activities simultaneously
Ability to motivate others and foster a team-oriented environment
Flexibility to adapt coaching methods based on participants' needs and skill levels
