About Us

South London Girls Football Academy is a progressive, player-centred academy dedicated to developing young female footballers across the region. We provide a positive, inclusive environment where players are supported to grow technically, tactically, and personally through the game.

Role Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and qualified Futsal Coach to deliver engaging, high-quality futsal sessions for beginner-level girls. The role is ideal for a coach passionate about developing young players, fostering enjoyment of the game, and linking futsal principles to broader football development.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver high-quality futsal sessions tailored to beginner and developing players.

Teach fundamental futsal techniques, tactics, and rules with clarity and enthusiasm.

Create a positive, fun, and inclusive learning environment for all participants.

Demonstrate how futsal skills and principles translate to the 11-a-side football game.

Monitor player progress and adapt sessions to individual and group needs.

Uphold the academy’s standards of professionalism, safeguarding, and player welfare.

Requirements

Minimum FA Futsal Level 1 qualification (or equivalent) – higher qualifications desirable.

Strong understanding of futsal techniques, tactics, and the game’s laws.

Experience coaching young players (girls’ football or futsal experience preferred).

Excellent communication and motivational skills.

Reliable, punctual, and able to maintain high coaching standards.

Valid Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain).

First Aid and Safeguarding Children certification (preferred).

Session Details

Location: Sydenham, South London

Day/Time: Thursdays, 3:00pm – 4:15pm

Duration: 1 hour 15 minutes per week (plus short setup/pack-down time)
