Job Title: Event Sales Executive

Reports to: Conference, Events and Hospitality Sales Lead

Contract: Permanent, full-time

Hours: Min 40 hours per week to include evenings, weekends and bank holidays as required

Salary: £27,000 - £30,000 per annum

Location: Cooper Associates County Ground, Taunton

Generate income through events and conference hire while driving the growth of CACG.

Develop new business, nurture client relationships, and deliver exceptional event experiences.

Achieve sales targets, maintain high service standards, and uphold the reputation of CACG and the Club.

You will have the experience, skills and knowledge to successfully...

Drive sales growth by actively seeking new market opportunities and generating leads through outbound calls, events, and exhibitions.

Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline through networking and targeted sector-based approaches.

Focus on meeting and exceeding revenue targets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.

Engage proactively with clients, managing enquiries and supporting event planning from initial contact to post-event feedback.

Coordinate with internal teams such as catering and operations to deliver seamless event experiences.

Support marketing efforts by collaborating with the communications team and developing promotional materials.

Monitor performance, conduct competitor analysis, and produce reports to ensure sales strategies remain effective.

You will have:

Relevant event or business development sales experience.

Demonstrable experience and success in sales.

Experienced in executing high quality proposal documents and emails.

Outstanding organisation, planning and time management skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong interpersonal, listening, negotiation and objection handling skills.

Excellent networking ability, ensuring effective relationship management.

You will need to be eligible to work in the UK.
