Sheffield United Football Club is now recruiting a Senior Executive to join our Commercial Department, with a focus on Partnership Sales.

Your role specific responsibilities will be:

Working closely with the Club's Commercial Manager and Head of Commercial, responsible for selling Club Partnerships across men's and women's teams, including but not limited to:

- Principal Partners
- Official Partners
- Supply Partners
- Any other future tier of Partnership
- Researching potential partners and all aspects of outreach including targeting phone calls, emails and networking.

Working with colleagues and agencies to:

- Identify opportunities and build a consistently strong sales pipeline
- Develop carefully tailored propositions
- Secure meetings with agencies and brands
- Attend and deliver presentations
- Develop and price inventory and rights
- Negotiate deals through to completion.

Additionally, you will be responsible for working alongside the Club's Partnership Executive - ensuring strong relations with partners are developed and maintained and that all reporting and other contractual obligations - including rights - are delivered effectively.

General Commercial Responsibilities:

- Ensuring all associated administrative tasks are carried out effectively and efficiently including - updating and managing sales platforms and working with colleagues in finance to ensure effective invoicing.
- Fostering the best possible relationships with partners and internal stakeholders.
- Develop and enhance customer relationships with partners with a view to gaining repeat commercial business.
- Understand and utilise the Club's sales systems and CRM computer systems to operate efficiently and effectively and record commercial sales activity.
- Manage and lead on the annual review process of any team members and new member recruitment.
- Attend external networking events when appropriate, to represent the Football Club in order to attract and develop new commercial partners.
- Being on duty at match days and to oversee and host commercial partners and prospects as necessary.
- Effective selling of club partnership inventory
- Good understanding of sports partnerships/keen to develop knowledge and be at the cutting-edge of sports partnerships
- Build extensive contacts with brands
- Maintaining and developing relationships with existing partners in person, via telephone calls, emails and all other forms of communication.
- Work closely with the executive responsible for partnership servicing and ensuring all rights are delivered effectively and strong relationships are developed and maintained
- Reporting of partnership impacts in line with contractual obligations.
- Understand all aspects of the commercial business and be a team player
- Have close working relationship with other departments to deliver overall commercial strategy
- Build upon and maintain existing and future CRM systems
- Host and network with existing and prospective partners at home matches
- Attend all appropriate networking events

Club Wide Responsibilities:

- To adhere to all Sheffield United Football Club's Safeguarding Policies and Procedures to foster an environment which protects from harm those defined as children and adults at risk.
- To report any concerns of a Safeguarding nature to the relevant parties and remain fully compliant with any applicable Safeguarding checks and due diligence and recognise your responsibility to the Club's Safeguarding agenda.

- Carry out/take part in training requests as directed by the Club.
- Any other reasonable requests as directed by management

Essential Criteria for the Role:

- Good Standard of Education GCSE A-C
- Previous and proven partnership sales and management experience, ideally within sport
- Strong relationship management skills
- Attention to detail
- Good organisation skills
- Self-motivated

Desirable Criteria for the Role:
- Degree in a relevant field

Expected Interview Process:

Week Commencing 27th October
1st Stage - CV Overview, Competency based questions
2nd Stage - Presentation Task
