In this role, you will be the go-to person for fans on gamedays, providing a friendly and informative presence for both home and away supporters. A deep knowledge of the Blades, passion for the club and a knack for exceptional customer service are essential. Additionally you will need excellent communication and time management skills to thrive in this fast-paced and exciting environment.Role Responsibilities:-Be present in and around the stadium on matchdays, acting as a conduit of information between supporters and Club staff.-Cover a specific area of the stadium on a matchday as directed by the Supporter Liaison & Disability Access Manager. E.g. A particular stand; the SLO Kiosk, Away End, Fan Zone or Club Ticket Office/Superstore.-Feedback any immediate actions requiring attention to the Clubs Support Liaison & Disability Access Manager that are identified on the day. E.g. Areas that require cleaning, damages to steps, signage or toilets, ticketing issues etc.-Have a thorough understanding of all SUFC policy and procedures, in addition to all Club activities and events. E.g. Stadium bags/flags entry policies, Fan Experience Initiatives, matchday campaigns and activities, designated Charity matchdays etc.-Provide directions and assistance to both Home and Away Supporters.-Assist with a wide range of supporter-based issues and/or refer to the Supporter Liaison & Disability Access Manager where required.-Any other reasonable requests as directed by management.Club Wide Responsibilities:-To adhere to all Sheffield United Football Club's Safeguarding Policies and Procedures to foster an environment which protects from harm those defined as children and adults at risk.-To report any concerns of a Safeguarding nature to the relevant parties and remain fully compliant with any applicable Safeguarding checks and due diligence and recognise your responsibility to the Club's Safeguarding agenda.-To report any concerns of discrimination to the relevant parties and promote a welcoming and inclusive club environment for all.-To adhere to the Club's Equality, Diversity and Inclusion policies, supporting the Club to create an environment which is inclusive and all-encompassing.-To carry out/take part in training requests as directed by the Club.Essential Candidate Criteria:-Sound knowledge of Sheffield United F.C, its supporters, history, culture and surroundings.-Completion of an enhanced DBS Check upon offer acceptance.-Good customer service skills-Effective communication with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely with supporters.-Good organisational skills-Great time management skills - to be able to visit different parts of the ground throughout the day, covering all areas that are required.-Effective listening skills-Work well as part of a team-Have the ability to listen to, help, advise and guide supporters requiring assistance.-To have an approachable and helpful natureDesirable Criteria:-Experience of being a seasoned fan attending both home and away games How to apply Application Process Please download and save the application form before inputting information.
