This is a important role within Sheffield Untied Women and Girls, focused on delivering high-quality, data-informed and video-based insights that support match preparation, player development, and tactical execution.The ideal candidate will have proven experience in professional football, with strong technical skills in performance analysis software and a keen understanding of the modern game. Working closely with coaching staff, you will be responsible for opposition analysis, training and matchday review, goalkeeping insights, and player-facing presentations �" all in alignment with the Club's game model and performance philosophy.Your Responsibilities will be:-Analyse upcoming opposition, both at a team and individual level, providing both a written and video-based report to First Team Coaching Staff.-Provide analysis on a matchday, utilising all available software-Record and analyse training to aid team and individual player development, as well as match preparation.-Provide position specific Goalkeeping analysis to the First Team Goalkeeping coach, and players.-Provide home fixture analysis to the Clubs Under 21's team, providing in-game analysis and suggestions to the coaching staff.-Maintain a database of best practice videos clips, in line with the Club's Game Model.-Provide data analysis, trends and create reports using data and video for First Team staff upon request.-Deliver pre-match analysis presentations to players and staff.-Upload match footage and data for player's review.Club Wide Responsibilities:-To adhere to all Sheffield United Football Club's Safeguarding Policies and Procedures to foster an environment which protects from harm those defined as children and adults at risk.-To report any concerns of a Safeguarding nature to the relevant parties and remain fully compliant with any applicable Safeguarding checks and due diligence and recognise your responsibility to the Club's Safeguarding agenda.-To report any concerns of discrimination to the relevant parties and promote a welcoming and inclusive club environment for all.-To adhere to the Club's Equality, Diversity and Inclusion policies, supporting the Club to create an environment which is inclusive and all-encompassing.Essential Criteria for the Role:-BSc or MSc in Sports Science, Sports Analytics, or a related field-Experience in performance analysis, within professional football-Experience in appropriate performance analysis software (eg Sportscode, Angles, TacticPro)-Experience in utilising software such as HUDL, WyScout etc.-Good interpersonal skills-Excellent organisational skills-A strong motivator, with high enthusiasm-Student of the professional, looking to improve and develop-Completion of Enhanced DBS upon offer acceptanceDesirable Criteria for the Role:-Training in data utilisation and coding How to apply Application Process Please download and save the application form before inputting information.
