What you will be doing:

Lead rehabilitation standards across Scottish Rugby, ensuring clinical excellence and consistency in return-to-play approaches.
Provide specialist rehabilitation expertise to support injured players at academy, regional, and national squad levels.
Drive vertical integration of RTP protocols so that rehabilitation practices are aligned from pathway programmes through to senior Men’s and Women’s squads.
Act as a consultancy lead for complex rehabilitation cases, advising coaches, medical teams, and performance colleagues.
Support player return-to-play outcomes by standardising best-practice rehabilitation processes across the whole performance system.
What we’re looking for:

Advanced rehabilitation expertise with strong clinical capability in managing complex return-to-play cases in elite sport.
In-depth knowledge of RTP standards and protocols, with the ability to apply and align best practice across multiple performance levels.
Experience working in high-performance sporting environments, ideally supporting academy, regional, and national-level athletes.
Ability to standardise and integrate rehabilitation approaches across pathways, ensuring consistency from development programmes to senior squads.
Strong consultancy and stakeholder collaboration skills, enabling effective advice and partnership with coaches, medical teams, and performance colleagues
