Job Description
The Multi-Media Creator is a hands-on creative responsible for the end-to-end creation of high-value video and photography content across the Saracens brand. Reporting to the Head of Multi-Media, this role is vital in capturing the emotion, energy, and stories of the club through compelling visual content across digital, social, commercial, and matchday platforms.

This is a hybrid role requiring both shooting and editing expertise across video and photo. The ideal candidate is a creative self-starter who can move seamlessly between high-energy matchday environments, behind-the-scenes storytelling, commercial activations, and studio shoots — all while delivering content that drives fan engagement, builds brand affinity, and supports club growth.

A key part of this role is delivering on the club’s “Players First” strategy — using visual content to elevate player profiles, grow their personal brands, and deepen the connection between Saracens’ fans and its athletes.

Key Responsibilities
Video & Photography Capture
• Capture high-quality video and photo content across all key club moments — including matches, training, player features, behind-the-scenes access, and branded activations.
• Work across the club to ensure all teams (Men’s, Women’s, Academy) are represented through best-in-class visual storytelling.
• Capture player-led content that reflects personality, lifestyle, and off-pitch moments in support of the “Players First” strategy.
• Operate solo or as part of a multi-creator team, adjusting shooting style based on context, format, or platform.
• Maintain and manage kit including cameras, lenses, lights, audio gear, and stabilisers.

Editing & Post-Production
• Edit a range of short-form and long-form video content for use across social, web, in-stadium, and commercial platforms.
• Select and edit photography assets for use in CRM, web, editorial, sponsorship, and marketing campaigns.
• Ensure all content is platform-optimised, brand-aligned, and delivered with creative flair and precision.
• Maintain visual consistency across all touchpoints by collaborating with editors, designers, and social managers.
Campaign & Social Integration
• Collaborate with the Social Media Manager and Head of Social to develop content that’s optimised for each platform and audience segment.
• Respond to reactive content needs (e.g. matchday moments, trending formats, cultural moments).
• Deliver assets that complement wider campaigns across CRM, partnerships, merchandise, ticketing, and player features.
• Brief and collaborate with the Copywriter and Design teams to align on messaging and creative tone.

Matchday & Live Event Coverage
• Live social posting and community management on match-day across media platforms
• Be a core member of the matchday content team — capturing pre-match energy, in-game moments, post-match emotion, and fan experience.
• Deliver rapid-turnaround content for social and in-stadium use, in coordination with social and production leads.
• Ensure players are consistently and authentically featured in matchday storytelling.
Commercial & Branded Content
• Create content that supports commercial priorities, including branded partner activations, sponsor campaigns, and merchandise promotion.
• Collaborate with the Commercial team to interpret briefed objectives into standout visual outputs.
• Contribute to pitch decks and proposals with visual concepting that brings sponsorship stories to life.
• Capture player-driven branded content, ensuring authenticity while delivering sponsor KPIs.

Key Skills & Experience

Essential:
• Proven experience creating both video and photography content for sports, entertainment, or lifestyle brands.
• Ability to shoot and edit independently across a variety of formats (matchdays, features, promos, verticals).
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Lightroom, Photoshop, Media Encoder).
• Strong visual storytelling instincts, with an eye for emotion, authenticity, and energy.
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, live environments with shifting priorities and quick turnarounds.
• Organised file management and workflow habits to operate within an internal agency structure.

Desirable:
• Experience in professional sport (rugby preferred) or working directly with athletes and talent.
• Understanding of social-first content production and current platform trends.
• Experience with motion graphics, templates, and editing workflows to accelerate delivery.
• Familiarity with framing, lighting, and editing techniques for player-centric, short-form storytelling.
• Drone or gimbal operation is a bonus.

Success Metrics
• Quality, consistency, and timeliness of multimedia content delivered.
• Growth in content-driven fan engagement and performance metrics (views, shares, saves, watch time).
• Increased visibility and follower growth of players, supported through “Players First” content strategy.
• Positive feedback from internal stakeholders: Head of Multi-Media, Creative Director, Head of Production, Head of Social, and the wider Social Team.
• Effective creative support of matchday coverage, commercial campaigns, and player-first content across all Saracens-owned channels.

Personal Characteristics
• Motivated/Determined/Proactive
• Entrepreneurial/Innovative
• Relentlessly Positive
• Passionate
• Caring/Kind
• Ability to work independently and ‘get the job done’ and also work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve a common goal
