Job Description
We're looking for a Project Manager to join the Saracens Foundation team.
The Saracens Foundation was founded in 2000 and is the charitable arm of Saracens Rugby Club. Over the last 25 years, we have invested millions of pounds on delivering a variety of social impact projects to our local community using sport and physical activity as the tools for positive engagement.

JOB TITLE: Project Manager – Older Adults
LOCATION: StoneX Stadium, NW4 1RL
CONTRACT TYPE: Permanent, Full Time
REPORTS TO: Senior Area Manager
SALARY BRACKET: £27,000 – £33,000

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
To manage the successful delivery of Foundation projects by engaging participants, coordinating activities, maintaining strong community relationships and ensuring projects achieve positive social outcomes in line with the Foundations Strategy.
You will lead the planning, coordination and delivery of the Saracens Foundation’s Older Adults projects, creating inclusive and engaging opportunities that improve physical wellbeing, confidence, coordination and social connection for participants. Through dance and movement activities, the projects aim to support both physical and mental wellbeing, reduce social isolation and encourage long-term healthy lifestyles within local communities. The role will work closely community groups, health partners, care homes and local stakeholders to ensure high-quality delivery and meaningful participant outcomes aligned to the wider mission of the Saracens Foundation.

KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Project Delivery
• Deliver high-quality sessions on behalf of the Foundation.
• Manage planning and coordination of projects.
• Ensure sessions are inclusive, engaging and aligned to Foundation objectives.
• Adapt delivery to meet the needs of our beneficiaries.
• Maintain high standards of professionalism.

Older Adults Project Delivery
• Coordinate and deliver engaging Love to Dance and Love to Balance project sessions.
• Create safe, inclusive and welcoming environments that encourage participation.
• Use dance and movement activities to improve physical and mental wellbeing, confidence, coordination and social connection.
• Adapt delivery styles and activities to meet the varying needs and abilities of participants.
• Support participants to improve wellbeing, self-esteem and long-term engagement in physical activity.
• Contribute towards community engagement events, showcases and promotional activities linked to the projects.
• Act as a positive role model and ambassador for the Saracens Foundation within the community.

Participant Engagement & Support
• Build positive relationships with participants and external stakeholders.
• Encourage participation, retention and progression within projects.
• Support behaviour management and inclusion within projects.

Administration & Coordination
• Maintain registers, attendance records and participant data.
• Manage scheduling and logistics for sessions and events.
• Manage communication with participants and external stakeholders.

Monitoring, Evaluation & Impact
• Implement relevant M&E frameworks to obtain impact led data.
• Create project case studies and yearly Impact Reports.
• Assist Grant Executive with funding reporting requirements.

Safeguarding & Compliance
• Ensure safeguarding policies are followed at all times.
• Complete risk assessments for projects.
• Ensure sessions remain inclusive and accessible.

Delivery Officer Management
• Line manage and support a Delivery Officer, providing regular supervision, guidance and performance feedback.
• Set clear objectives and support the Delivery Officer's professional development through coaching and mentoring.
• Ensure the Delivery Officer delivers high-quality, safe and engaging sessions in line with Foundation standards.
• Monitor workload, wellbeing and performance, addressing issues proactively and escalating where appropriate.
• Conduct regular one-to-one meetings, probation reviews and annual appraisals.
• Promote a positive, collaborative team culture and ensure compliance with Foundation policies and procedures.

Casual Staff & Volunteer Management
• Manage a team of casual staff and volunteers within your area.
• Ensure their adherence to session delivery policies.
• Management of casual staff & volunteer timetable with support of SAM.

Finance & Budget Management
• Ensure financial processes are followed and executed in a timely manner.
• Manage financial performance of your projects.

Saracens Foundation Support
• Support and contribute to wider Foundation events where relevant.
• Some evening and weekend work on an ad hoc basis.

PERSON SPECIFICATION
The successful candidate will possess the following:
Skills - Essential
• Experience delivering dance and/or movement sessions to a wide variety of beneficiaries.
• Strong communication & interpersonal skills.
• Ability to engage diverse participant groups.
• Understanding of safeguarding principles within sport and movement.

Skills - Desirable
• Dance Degree or equivalent.
• Knowledge of monitoring & evaluation frameworks and how to implement them.
• An understanding of the sport for change landscape.
• Experience working for a community charity or equivalent.
• Experience working with older adults.

Personal Characteristics
• You have a relentless focus and are a great team player.
• You work collaboratively with others and take pride in your work.
• You manage delivery effectively, assuming personal ownership and accountability for results.
• You are organised, efficient and innovative in your approach to your work and tasks.
• You are flexible in your approach to managing your workload but also possess the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Compensation
• Dependant on the charity’s financial performance, the Saracens Foundation may conduct an annual pay review. However, proactive pay increases may be implemented to reflect growing responsibilities.

Working from home
• We all work from the office on Mondays and Thursdays. This keeps team collaboration and engagement high.
• If you are normally office-based, you can still work from home occasionally - as long as you have a good internet connection and a private, quiet space which allows you to do your best work.
