Job Title: Partnerships Manager
Location: Hersham, Surrey (KT12 3PW)
Start date: ASAP
Job Type: Full-time
Salary range: £32,000-£35,000 + Commission (OTE of £45,000-£50,000)
Type of work: Office-based (Hybrid) & Events

Role Overview
The Partnerships Manager will be responsible for generating single-event and multi-event partnership opportunities from both new business leads and expanding existing partnership accounts. The role will see you leading initial conversations and pitching, right the way through to partnership rights delivery and renewal conversations; ensuring our partner’s needs are met and upselling opportunities are maximised.

Key Responsibilities
- Partnership Sales and Identification
- Initial outreach and early-stage conversations with prospective partners, pitching partnership opportunities with RunThrough and understanding potential alignment of their budgets and objectives, following this through to partnership deck creation and contracts. This will consist of both face-to-face and virtual meetings.
- Identify new partnership opportunities and target markets, working with the B2B marketing team to develop new leads and potential partnership opportunities.

Account Management
- Manage current partnership accounts and liaise with them throughout the partnership lifecycle, including regular check-ins, debrief meetings post-event and renewal conversations.
- Revisit previous partnership accounts to understand their requirements and revitalise agreements or cross-sell into other partnership opportunities.

Partnership Delivery
- Collaborate with internal terms across partnerships, operations and marketing when necessary to create or develop initiatives and ensure partnership rights are activated in a timely manner.
- Attend events where appropriate to meet with partners and ensure they receive the best possible experience and maximise their opportunity of partnering with RunThrough.

What We’re Looking For

Required
- 2+ years in partnership sales/account management/B2B sales, ideally in the sports sponsorship space
- Strong pitching and presenting skills - both virtually and in person
- Good negotiation skills and strategic thinking to be able to look at the wider picture of partnership opportunities
- Exceptional writing skills, with the ability to tailor messaging for different audiences
- Full UK Driving Licence and ability to travel.

Preferred
- Experience in a fast-growing or high-profile events company leading partnership opportunities.
- Experience managing/mentoring team members
