Job Type: Full-time (Including weekend work)
Salary Range: £24k – 26k (Depending on experience) + Bonus Scheme
Type of Work: Events (various locations)/Office-based

As we expand our reach and continue to build our team, we are looking for an Events Logistics Executive to join our team in Manchester!

The Role
We are looking for someone with a passion for running to join an established and growing company. You will be working directly with our logistics team in our Manchester warehouse, to organise and deliver running events across the region and helping runners to have the best experience at RunThrough events.


Key Responsibilities

- Assisting in event preparation; packing and testing equipment for weekly events
- Regular stock taking, ordering new equipment and product, receiving deliveries and maintaining equipment/vehicles
- Checking venues and courses pre-event for any potential hazards
- Assisting course team in race route set up; positioning signage, cones, dropping off course marshals, water stations etc
- Lead cycling for events; guiding the runners around the course and checking for any issues that need to be addressed
- Debriefing after events, analysing areas to improve and how to do so in weekly team meetings.

Skills & Experience Required

The ideal candidate will have a genuine interest in working in live events, an interest in running, and be a fast learner. They will work well as part of a team at events, as well as working alone at the warehouse. They will have strong organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to perform manual tasks.

Essential:
- Able to work to strict deadlines and calm under pressure
- Confident and able to ride a bike at the front of a road race
- Ability to carry out manual tasks
- Desire to learn, develop and advance personal career prospects
- Passion for delivering faultless events with a customer-centric focus
- Willing to work on weekends
- Full UK manual Driving Licence and comfortable with driving a van.

Desirable:
- Experience working live events
- Logistics/warehousing experience
- Keen interest in and knowledge of running.
