Job Description
JOB TITLE: Logistics & Operations Executive
START DATE: 1st October 2025
JOB TYPE: Full-time (Including weekend work)
SALARY: £24,500 – £26,000 per year (depending on experience) + Bonus scheme
HOLIDAY: 25 days holiday + bank holidays
BASED: Hersham, Surrey KT12 3PW (travel is involved for events)
TYPE OF WORK: Events (various locations)/Office-based (Hersham, Surrey KT12 3PW)

About Us: RunThrough is the UK's largest and Europe’s fastest growing running events company, dedicated to delivering exceptional running experiences and fostering a vibrant community of runners. We are in an extremely exciting period of growth, with over 300 events planned and 400,000 entrants expected in 2025. As we expand our reach and continue to build our team, we are looking for a passionate Logistics and Operations Executive to join us on this exciting journey.


The Role:
We are looking for someone with a passion for running to join a young, rapidly growing company. You will be working directly with our logistics and operations teams in our Hersham office/warehouse, to organise and deliver running events in Greater London and the South of the UK.

Key Responsibilities:
Logistics:
- Assisting in event preparation; packing and testing equipment for weekly events.
- Regular stock taking, ordering new equipment and product, receiving deliveries and maintaining equipment/vehicles.

Operations:
- Thorough course checks to be performed prior to events
- Course measurements to ensure courses are certified
- Race licensing documentation

Event Delivery:
- Assisting course team in race route set up; positioning signage, cones, dropping off course marshals, water stations etc.
- Lead cycling for events; guiding the runners around the course and checking for any issues that need to be addressed
- Debriefing after events, analysing areas to improve and how to do so in weekly team meetings

Person Specification:
- The ideal candidate will have a genuine interest in working in live events, an interest in running/sport, and be a fast learner.
- They will work well as part of a team at events, as well as working alone at the warehouse/on operational tasks.
- They will have strong organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to perform manual tasks.

Essential:
- Able to work to strict deadlines and calm under pressure
- Confident and able to ride a bike at the front of a road race
- Ability to carry out manual tasks
- Desire to learn, develop and advance personal career prospects
- Passion for delivering faultless events with a customer-centric focus
- Willing to work on weekends (average of 2 weekends per month)
- Full UK Manual Driving Licence and willing to drive a van

Desirable:
- Experience working live events
- Keen interest in and knowledge of running and sport
- Logistics/warehousing experience
- Previous experience driving a van
