Football Coach Organisation Rossall School Salary £22,000 for term time only Location Rossall School, Fleetwood, Lancashire Contract type Permanent (Full time) Closing date 28 July 2025 Job Description Rossall School is seeking an experienced, talented and motivational Football Coach from September 2025. Our Elite Football Programme is a unique development programme for student athletes. Whatever their starting point and whatever the scale of their ambition, we work with students as people and we challenge them as athletes. From mastering the fundamentals to coaching them to play at the highest level, we tailor our approach to suit the needs of each student.The Football Programme runs in partnership with Manchester City Football Club. Pupils follow a premier league style academy programme with training sessions taking place both at Rossall and off-site.Main Responsibilities:• Support with the delivery of small group sessions across our football scholars across the school• Lead of football programme sessions and games• Support with the delivery of boys and girls football across all year groups as part of the Whole School and Football Programme Sessions• Lead football fixtures both home and away across multiple ages and genders• Lead training and games for a specific age group within school throughout the footballing terms • Organise and lead regular domestic and international tours, mainly during the holidays• Support with external football visits to help promote and recruit students into school• Assist with administration tasks and roles within the department• Support with assisting with footballing equipment and kit across all year groups• Attend weekly staff meetings within the department• Support with the completion of individual reviews based around Individual Learning Plans for all students• Support with the data collection for student athletes throughout training, games and academically• Support with video analysis ensure games are filmed and uploaded to the appropriate platforms for students to access• Support with the clipping of highlights to aid performance both of individuals and teams• Attend and support with the delivery of CPD within the footballing department as well as externally• Support with the marketing of the football department through social media • Support all sporting match daysThe position is a full-time post, term time only.At Rossall we provide a supportive and inclusive working environment where care for all our staff is an important part of our culture.
