Job Description
This is a 2 year graduate placement for a recent university graduate looking for a full-time professional career in sport. The 2 year placement will be split into two one year rotations with each one focusing on one of our core business areas:

1. Becoming a high performing PH Tennis coach
This will involve learning how to get the best out of all our junior and adult players - inspiring them to get the most out of the sport we are so passionate about. We have a truly unique approach creating a culture and atmosphere of experimentation and encourage players to play in their own way solving problems using their natural instincts and problem solving abilities.
Along side the practical elements, you will learn about the entire customer journey - being involved with creating and analysing marketing campaigns - building courses on our booking platform, ensuring courts and equipment are correct for the execution of the service and dealing with customer service enquires from both new and existing clients. At the end of your first year, you will be responsible for training and guiding your replacement on the off-court responsibilities as you move onto your second rotation. You will continue to deliver on-court coaching throughout the second year.

2. Delivering our digital business plan(Video creating/editing & Social Media management)
We are one of the UKs biggest Tennis Instagram and YT content creators with over 14 pieces of unique content posted every week.
In this rotation you will get exposure to the filming process, post production editing and the planning and analysis of future videos. You may even get an on-screen debut too!
You will work to create content to help build the brand and generate growth and sales across our coaching, retail, e-commerce and digital coaching products.


In each rotation you will receive expert training, guidance and mentoring from industry experts. You will get fully funded LTA coach qualifications (up to L3) as well as access to training courses covering the other business areas.
This is a unique opportunity within the Tennis industry to truly test your adaptability and find a sector of being a sports business profession you can truly flourish in.

We have 7 local coaching venues where we deliver best-in-class lessons to all ages and standards offering industry leading service and professionalism.
We manage a 4-court flood-lit park site in its entirety. (Venue Management)
We have a high-street shop and e-commerce website selling all the leading Tennis Brands.
We have a rapidly growing YouTube and Instagram channels
We create, market and sell online Tennis Coaching courses.

Person Specification

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who is a great communicator with a genuine passion for sport and Tennis in particular - we truly believe Tennis can be a sport for all and transform lives.

Successful candidates would be confident contributors who are willing to share ideas in all areas of the business. We are looking for someone who is a team player who is able to share ideas internally and externally both verbally and digitally.

The successful candidate will have great attention to detail, be customer focussed and able to organise their time efficiently – ensuring multiple projects/objectives can be achieved.

We are striving for excellence in the world of digital platforms so we are looking for someone who is confident and capable of using all digital platforms. We aspire to be at the forefront of technology and innovation within the Tennis world and need team members who enjoy and excel in using and leveraging technology to improve our offering.
