Job Description: Are you passionate about women’s sport and ready to play a key role in a dynamic and forward-thinking football environment? Portsmouth Women’s Football Club is seeking a dedicated and passionate Physiotherapist or Sports Therapist to join our Professional Game Academy (PGA) until 30 June 2026 on 15h per week contract. This is a unique opportunity to play a vital role in the development and well-being of our academy players by delivering expert medical care, rehabilitation, and injury prevention services.

Your key responsibilities will include:
• Deliver comprehensive physiotherapy and emergency medical cover to all PGA players.
• Collaborate with the 1st Team Lead Physiotherapist to assess, treat, and rehabilitate injuries.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records, including use of Kitman Labs.
• Assist with medical screenings and injury prevention programmes.
• Support strength & conditioning plans in conjunction with the Physical Performance Coach.
• Provide cover on training days and contribute to player medical education.
• Communicate regularly with football and medical staff regarding player health.
• Play an active role in multidisciplinary team meetings and recruitment decisions.

What We’re Looking For:

Essential Qualifications:
• BSc/MSc in Physiotherapy or BSc in Sports Therapy
• Current membership with CSP or a member HCPC or Society of Sports Therapy
• In-date ITMMiF qualification (or willingness to complete ATMMiF – support provided)
Desirable (not required but beneficial):
• BSc in Sports Science
• Familiarity with cardiology and orthopaedic screening protocols
• Sports Massage, Acupuncture, or Spinal Manipulation skills
