• Contribute to pre-signing medical assessments and attend consultations when needed.

Innovation & Continued Development:
• Keep up to date with research and best practices in women’s and girls’ sports performance.
• Contribute to the club’s Research & Innovation (R&I) strategy.
• Undertake required qualifications and CPD as outlined by the league (e.g. UKSCA).

What We’re Looking For:
Essential Qualifications:

• UKSCA or UKNSCA accreditation (or working towards) – club can offer support if required
• Full, clean driving licence
Desirable:
• MSc (completed or in progress)
• EFAiF (Emergency First Aid in Football)

What You Bring:
We are looking for a practitioner with a strong foundation in elite sport, ideally within a professional football environment, who can bring the following:
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience working within an elite sports setting, delivering high-performance support to athletes.
• Proven experience in the use of GPS systems to monitor and analyse player performance, workload, and physical output.
• A track record of effective collaboration within a multi-disciplinary team —to deliver integrated athlete care and development.
• A solid understanding of the demands and culture of a professional football environment, with a clear ability to adapt and thrive in a performance-focused setting.
• Experience in developing and implementing innovative training solutions, using evidence-based methods to enhance player performance and long-term development.
• Clinical experience in assessing, diagnosing, and rehabilitating neuromuscular and orthopaedic injuries in elite athletes, ensuring safe and progressive returns to play.
• Skilled in modifying training and rehab programmes to meet individual needs, demonstrating advanced clinical reasoning and player-centred thinking.
• Experience designing and delivering profiling and screening protocols to guide performance plans and inform injury prevention strategies.
• A proactive approach to injury prevention, with practical experience applying preventative strategies in a professional sporting environment.
