Job Description
About Planet Earth Games Trust

Planet Earth Games Trust is an award-winning charity founded in 2021. Its mission is:

“To inspire people to make behavioural changes which benefit their own wellbeing and the natural environment.”

It is grounded in three core beliefs:

• The symbiotic relationship between human health & environmental health – if people are better connected with the natural environment, they are more motivated to preserve the environment AND reap all the wellbeing benefits from being in and around nature.
• Sustainability is fun – it is enjoyable both in discovering and maintaining new eco-friendly habits
• Everybody can play a part - we encourage change, we don’t berate people, we are inclusive and accessible and welcome everyone to make a positive difference

Since launching, Planet Earth Games has delivered events and experiences in corporate, education and community settings that have delivered immediate, short-term and legacy outcomes around sustainability and wellbeing through sport and physical activity.

Successes include:
• A national partnership with Association of Colleges, delivering an annual UK wide competition with the Further Education sector engaging over 50,000 young people
• Host of the UK’s biggest national plogging programme
• Training the UK School Games network in sustainable sport, leading to winning the 2022 British Sustainable Sport Award

What We Are Looking For
We are looking for an enthusiastic, proactive and organised individual who enjoys bringing people together, developing partnerships and creating opportunities for communities and young people to take positive action for the environment through physical activity.
