Working Pattern: Full time, 37 hours per week, including regular evening and weekend work with domestic and international travel required.

Paddle UK is the governing body for Paddlesports, supporting and providing opportunities for everyone to enjoy and realise their potential within all aspects of paddling regardless of their age, background or ability.

The Role

We’re looking for an organised and motivated coach to lead Canoe Slalom and Kayak Cross at Lee Valley Paddlesports Club (LVPC), supporting the England Slalom Talent Programme.
This is a hands-on role combining coaching and coordination to grow participation, develop young paddlers, and strengthen the club pathway.

Key responsibilities

Deliver weekly coaching sessions (flatwater & whitewater)
Grow participation through programmes, events and competitions
Support paddlers’ early competition experiences
Manage weekly planning, coaches and communications
Build regional partnerships and support coach development
Contribute to club strategy, events and financial sustainability

About you

Qualified paddlesport coach (or equivalent)
Experience working with young people
Strong organisation and communication skills
Understanding of slalom pathways
Proactive, collaborative and able to manage competing priorities

Desirable: Club/volunteer experience, event delivery or marketing, relevant degree
