Job Description
Department: Performance
Reports to: Head of Performance Operations
Location: National Watersports Centre, Holme Pierrepont, Nottingham
Contract: Full time, 37 hours per week (including occasional evenings and weekends)
Hybrid working: 4 days a week in the office, 1 day working from home

The Role

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-focused Performance Operations & Anti-Doping Coordinator to support the delivery of Paddle UK’s Performance Programme.

This role sits at the centre of performance operations, providing essential administrative, compliance and coordination support to the performance leadership team. You will play a key role in ensuring policies, systems and processes run effectively, while acting as Paddle UK’s main point of contact for all Anti-Doping matters.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives on structure, accuracy and supporting high-performance environments behind the scenes.

Key Responsibilities

● Coordinate meetings, schedules and documentation, ensuring reports, agendas and minutes are prepared accurately and on time
● Lead delivery of the Paddle UK Anti-Doping strategy and compliance requirements through a clear annual action plan
● Manage performance clothing procurement, stock control and distribution, including supplier management and budget oversight
● Maintain and update performance websites, databases and shared drives, ensuring information is accurate and GDPR compliant
● Provide administrative support across performance projects, including recruitment, athlete recognition, social impact initiatives and the BOA passport scheme
● Support operational compliance across identified facilities, including health & safety and risk management processes
● Prepare accurate reports and documentation, including Board, annual and UK Sport reports
● Provide administrative and logistical support across performance disciplines, particularly at peak times
● Ensure performance programmes operate in line with Paddle UK policies, processes and branding, supporting cross-department governance initiatives
● Provide operational and administrative support to the Director of Sport and Head of Performance Operations

About You

You are an organised and proactive administrator with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-performance environment. You take pride in accuracy, enjoy supporting others and are confident working with policies, systems and compliance processes.

Essential skills and experience
● Excellent planning and organisational skills
● Strong written and verbal communication skills
● Proven ability to deliver tasks and projects accurately and to deadlines
● Excellent IT skills, including MS Office and Google applications
● Strong customer service approach and problem-solving skills
● 5 or more GCSEs (grades 5–9) including Maths and English
● Driving licence

Desirable
● Understanding of elite sport, talent pathways, coaching or sports science environments
● Experience working with public funding agencies
● Experience working with multiple stakeholders, partners or volunteers
● Qualification in management, sports science, business studies or related field
