Job Description: Old Colfeians Rugby Club are looking for a Part time (Fixed term - August – April/May) Physiotherapist/Sports therapist to join the Sports medical Team.

We are based in South London, level 6. (Successful applicant will also work occasionally at Colfes independent secondary school/and OCRFC U16/17/18).

This role is responsible for the assessment, treatment and rehabilitation of senior, and junior players.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate a background working in sport/rugby/football and must have a skill set which includes the practical delivery of performance rehab to athletes and have the following:

BSc Hons in Physiotherapy/Sports Rehab/Sports Therapy

Membership of Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (MCSP)/Society of Sports therapist/BASRaT.

Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) or professional governing body.

Working towards Level 2 Immediate Care in Sport (ICIS) or equivalent qualification.

Time

Monday and Wednesday – 18:30 till 2100

Saturday – PM Kick off

Summary of Key Responsibilities
To contribute to the injury management, injury prevention, physical rehabilitation, education, and medical services delivered to Senior and junior Players.
Lead on the medical management of Junior players

Maintain accurate and detailed records of all aspects of physiotherapy treatment, injury management and rehab content in keeping with Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) guidelines.
Provide match day cover for OCRFC and other senior team fixtures as required.
Assist senior physiotherapist with departmental administration, reporting and management tasks as required.
