Job Description
About the Role
Are you passionate about developing athletes and delivering high-quality coaching sessions? Join NTU Sport as an Assistant Athletics Coach and help drive our sprint squad to success!

In this role, you’ll support the planning and delivery of our Athletics Sprint programme, working closely with our Lead Coach and performance support teams. You’ll coach both group and individual sessions, helping students improve their technical and tactical performance across the BUCS season.

You’ll be key to developing and guiding our student-athletes through all phases of training. You’ll also help shape the selection processes, work alongside club committees, and play a vital role in talent identification and development.

This is more than just coaching. You’ll be part of a collaborative environment that connects students with strength & conditioning, physio and performance analysis. We’ll look to you to help student-athletes balance academic and athletic life, keeping wellbeing at the heart of what you do.

We’re looking for someone who’s enthusiastic, organised, and a great communicator. You should hold a Level 2 coaching qualification and have experience working in performance-focused environments. If you understand the student sport landscape and enjoy being part of a supportive, forward-thinking team—this is the role for you.

You’ll gain valuable experience, develop your coaching skills, and make a real impact on athlete development at NTU.

Sound like you? Apply now and help take NTU Athletics to the next level.

For more details, please take a look at the role profile. We'll still consider applications even if you don't meet every single one of the requirements, so don't be put off if you don't match them perfectly.

Thursday- 19.15 - 20.45, location- Harvey Haddon Athletics Track
