Lead Coach - Thai Boxing Organisation Nottingham Trent University Salary £20 per hour- Zero Hours Location Nottingham Contract type Closing date 3 August 2025 Interview date 11 August 2025 Job Description This role is a zero hours contract, term time only (September - May).About the RoleTo lead, plan and implement the delivery of an effective coaching programme for NTU Thai Boxing club, allowing students to participate to the best of their abilities. This may include both group and individual sessions, and the creation of yearlong programmes.To assist sports staff in ensuring that (where appropriate) individuals are receiving relevant access to NTU’s range of support services (where available), including sport science, strength and conditioning, performance analysis and physiotherapy, liaising with all partners on a regular basis.To assist sports staff in managing the programmes of any high-performance athletes within the club with their external clubs/performance programmes to ensure they are receiving the highest quality of experience and allowing them to perform to the best of their ability for NTU.To work with the club committees to develop and implement an effective squad selection/tasters session process.To manage assistant coaches within the programme and assist with the recruitment of coaches where appropriate.Work in partnership with other NTU Sport staff members and club committee(s) to ensure optimal development of the sport at the university.Working PatternThe current coaching schedule for this position is below for term time only (September-May) but could be subject to change ahead of the 2025-2026 academic year.
