Head of Football Organisation Millfield School Salary £26,460 per annum Location Glastonbury, Somerset Contract type Permanent (Full time) Closing date 15 May 2026 Job Description Millfield Prep School is seeking a passionate and experienced football coach to lead and further develop our football programme for pupils aged 7–13.This is a term time plus two weeks role, working an average of 42 hours per week, which includes 10 hours of recoverable coaching time. The salary for this position is £26,460 per annum, based on a full time equivalent salary of £36,790.Reporting to the Director of Sport, the Head of Football will deliver coaching across all year groups and play a key role in shaping the strategic direction of football at the Prep School. Responsibilities include planning and delivering high quality training sessions, organising fixtures and competitions, and supporting the development of individual players within a strong long term athlete development framework.The successful candidate will hold a minimum of FA Level 1 or 2 qualification, have proven experience coaching young athletes, and demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills. A collaborative approach and a genuine enthusiasm for contributing to the wider life of the school are essential.
