Job Description: Millfield School is looking to recruit a Development Cricket Coach on a fixed term basis until 29th June 2025 who will be responsible for the development of cricketers at the school, implementing a tactical, technical, and mental programme for players of all levels of experience.

The successful candidate will lead specialist coaching sessions with our Individual Development Programme players, all U15A Squad sessions, and take responsibility for the Departments Social Media channels and First Aid provision.

Applicants should have experience of coaching cricket in Performance Cricket environments (County, Regional Experience) and within schools, as well as excellent knowledge of long-term development practices for young cricketers. The successful applicant will hold a minimum qualification at England Cricket Board Level 2 with aspirations of attaining an Advanced Cricket coach qualification with the ECB.

This is a term time only role working Monday 4pm-6pm, Wednesday 1pm-3pm, and Saturday 1pm-6pm until 29th June 2025. In return, you will receive £20.80 per hour plus statutory holiday pay, freshly prepared lunches for just £10 per month, access to the school facilities and discounts/cashback on high street shops and restaurants through the school’s Employee Assistance Programme.
