About Us

Midlands Football Development Centre provides high-quality, structured football coaching for boys and girls aged U7–U16. Our mission is to develop confident, capable players in a supportive, positive environment that emphasises long-term player progression and enjoyment of the game.

Role Overview

We are looking for a passionate and professional Lead Football Coach to join our team and help deliver engaging, high-standard training sessions at our development centres. You will lead sessions, support player growth, and contribute to a positive coaching culture that reflects our values.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, deliver and lead dynamic football coaching sessions for players aged U7–U16.
Create a positive, fun and challenging learning environment that focuses on technique, game understanding and player development.
Promote high standards of behaviour, participation and enjoyment at all times.
Provide constructive feedback to players and engage effectively with parents.
Support the development of session plans, themes and coaching content alongside other coaches.
Maintain a safe coaching environment and adhere to safeguarding policies.
Person Specification

Essential:
✔ Enthusiastic about football and working with young people.
✔ Good communication and organisational skills.
✔ Experience coaching children in group settings.
✔ Reliable, professional and positive attitude.

Desirable:
✔ FA coaching qualification (e.g., FA Level 1 or above).
✔ Experience in youth development or academy environments.
✔ Enhanced DBS/Police Check and safeguarding training.
