Job Description: In this role you will play a key part in helping shape the development of not only Middlesex FA but also our £5million leisure facility, Rectory Park. This role is pivotal to delivery of our four-year strategy ‘Realising Our Potential’ and you will be joining us in year two of this chapter in our journey.

As a deputy to the CEO, you will be leading our existing Management Team and will be responsible for how we deliver our ambitious strategy, our impact in the community and the participants whose lives we are here to influence. You will provide the day-to-day focus and leadership needed to achieve our strategy.

The successful applicant will be a highly skilled and enthusiastic individual with a passion for football and a track record in strategic leadership in a small to medium sized business.

Roles

• To support delivery of The FA Grassroots Football Strategy and the Middlesex FA Business Strategy.

• To provide strategic direction to the Clubs & Facilities and Development & Workforce departments.

• To assist with the day-to-day running and governance of Middlesex FA.

• To support the strategic direction and culture of Middlesex FA and act as an ambassador for grassroots football.

• To support the operational and financial performance of Rectory Park in accordance with the Business Plan.

• To lead and line-manage the department leads to deliver both The FA and County FA strategy targets including the production of annual operational plans, quarterly work programmes and monthly reporting.

• To contribute to the effective implementation of The FA’s Safeguarding Operating Standard for County FAs.

• To support the adoption of FA technology systems across grassroots football.

• To comply with FA rules, regulations, policies, procedures and guidance that are in place from time to time.
