CFG also invests in other football related businesses and serves as a global commercial platform for our partners, whilst fulfilling our purpose of empowering better lives through football on a local and global scale, consistent with what “City” football has meant to people for over a century.

Our purpose is to empower better lives through football. We are proud of the role CFG clubs play in their localities, delivering positive economic, social and environmental impact through our operations and through programmes and activities that bring about meaningful, lasting change.

Work closely with the Head of Treasury in the development and execution of the Group funding strategy, including banking facilities and the management of banks, investors and credit rating agencies. Oversee the covenant compliance process and associated reporting.
Identify and drive continuous improvement in treasury controls, processes and systems, including the use of automation and emerging technologies to enhance insight, efficiency and decision-making.
Act as a trusted Treasury partner and advisor to clubs and internal teams across the City Football Group network, providing guidance, support and challenge on treasury-related matters.

Professional qualification such as ACT (Association of Corporate Treasurers), ACCA, ACA, CIM or equivalent
Multi-year experience working in a multinational, multi-entity Corporate Treasury environment.
Proven experience in developing and executing financial risk management strategies, including foreign exchange, cash investment, interest rate and counterparty risk.
Strong experience of producing and analysing cash flow forecasts (direct and indirect methodologies).
Experience on managing debt facilities or debt instruments, including associated reporting requirements and covenant compliance.
Sound knowledge of IFRS derivative accounting including applying hedge accounting.
Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high profile environment with competing priorities.

Desirable
Manage bank, investor and credit rating agency relationships.
Experience of using, selecting or implementing a Treasury Management System and experience leveraging automation, data and analytics to improve processes, controls and insight.
Advanced level of Microsoft Excel and Power BI modelling.
Experience developing and mentoring Treasury colleagues.

This Is Your City
